For MG, the MGF mid-engine roadster launched in 1995 represented a resurrection, albeit a brief one. But the big hype, such as that triggered by competitors Mazda with the MX-5 or BMW with the Z3, failed to materialize. For many, the MGF is a low-budget roadster and, unfortunately, is often treated as such. But the poorly traded cars will drive up prices for gems. Special editions like the MGF Trophy are already in high demand.
